Law
The doctoral procedure begins with the "admission to doctoral studies" by submitting the dissertation and the required documents to the Dean's Office (see registration forms for Law / Economics). The dissertation can be written during doctoral studies, for which you can enrol at any time with a "doctoral confirmation" (not "admission to doctoral studies") from the Dean's Office at the Registrar's Office of the University of Bonn. You can inquire about the requirements at the Dean's Office.

Economics
A doctorate in economics is possible via the Ph.D. program with an integrated Master of Science in Economic Research at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics. All information can be found on the website of the Bonn Graduate School of Economics. A doctorate at the chair is not possible.
